They would be considered the smallest pillows for practical use on a full sized sofa, love seat or overstuffed chair. The Industry Standard "throw pillow" or "sofa pillow" is our 18"x18". While they are great for many chairs, or even loveseats, these 16" pillows may appear a bit small on many large, overstuffed sofas or sectionals. However, on some modern, low back, low armed sofas, they can work just fine. Also, when layered with our 18"x18" or our 20"x20" pillows, they can work nicely for adding accent and comfort to full sized upholstered furniture...They might even be the answer in the bedroom to dress up an otherwise plain bed!
